Hello friends, I'm using the base tie up from season 5, and weaving turned twill (still playing with it). My loom has 10 treadles and I'm wondering if anyone has a tie up they like to use besides plain weave for the remaining 2 treadles.. My X treadles and Y treadles are tied for turned twill, but I sure would love to use the other two treadles. I thought to set up the two of them for broken treadling, but am looking for the structure to be a bit sophisticated. Wishing I had 12 treadles.

I set them for basket weave, and used that for my hem. Not overly sophisticated!!

I'm working it out, and changing X treadles, while keeping Y treadles for framers. Crawling must suit me.

I used an online free app, Tim's Treadle Reducer, and now I can weave both X and Y Treadles and framers too. I input plain old turned twill tie up and framers, which came out to 12 treadles, then with Tim's calculations I can now weave all three parts of the turned twill on 10 treadles.
