I just had a thought, it might be asking you for your "Adobe" password.. I get asked this with annoying frequency when opening pdfs.
I bought the pdf--- I wanted to try it as well.
The PDF is password protected.
I tried to open it up with Ibooks and it won't allow it either. It says it's an unidentified developer.
Have you contacted the store? I will send off an email.
