I cut my hand-dyed silk/wool (not your zephyr) samples for a shawl off the loom, stitched the edges to hold the last rows in place, ironed with a steam iron, giving it an occasional blast of steam. But I really want to know if I can/should full the wool/silk? I see that the Superwash may "relax" more than the silk, but not really full. I already used synthapol to rinse the hand-dyed yarns, so am I finished when I iron or would you suggest trying a bit of gently hand washing to the woven fabric. Still not certain of the sett as I re-sleyed from 12epi to 16epi and now I'm re-sleying for 22epi. Whatdoyathink here?

It's a sample right? can you just try the washing? Or can you cut the sample into several pieces and do several techniques?....I'm related to raccoons so I want to wash everything I get my hands on!
Yes, that's what I did, I love the hand of the 16epi now that it's washed (by hand in warm). The sample at 16epi only shrunk slightly. Thanks.
