I really don't want to sell my Spring I but because of the nearly non-existent shed I may have to. I have tried everything that I can think of to get the nice large shed I see on Jane's loom. The best I have been able to get is about a two inch shed in which the upper threads are likely to be caught when throwing the boat creating unwanted floats. Before I hang the for sale sign on the loom, can anyone share tips and tricks they used on their looms to improve the shed. Any and all help would be appreciated.
Okey Dokey Artichokie, I'm back in the studio. Those measurements on the link that Sandra sent you are correct. They are straight off of my loom. I have 3 Spring I's and they are all very close....maybe a snitch different on each one...like different by 1/2 cm or so. Please let us know how you are making out. Your loom is a beauty and I want you to be able to weave on it. You have seen the get sheds it has....we just need to tweak yours so it is just like mine.
