Hello weavers,

I am planning to weave a twill table runner. I have lots of 8/2 and have some 5/2 coming in the mail. I just pulled a project off the loom and I am chomping at the bit to get going again! I can't have the loom empty, now can I?!
Because 8/2 doubled would equal the 5/2, and I wouldn't have to dye it, I am wondering if the 8/2 doubled would look visually different in the cloth?
Would the strands twist or separate do you think? Is it better to exercise patience and wait for the 5/2?
