I am still weaving off the Summer & Winter warp on my table loom (I am experimenting with different pattern wefts), and am in the process of warping my new David III (1st warp on this loom!!) for the latest Season 6 Episode 9 Block analysis. I've gotten 10 of the 1 inch sections warped (sectional beam) and have 8 more to go, then I'll start the threading.

Playing with Double Weave. Had some issues, but resolved that with a pair of scissors. Hahaha. It's OK It's all in the learning. Not as wide as when I began, but it IS doubled. Played with all kinds of colors, and even got rid of some "artsy" yarn I spun many years ago. This might be a pillow cover!

I also used my bigger shuttle because the bobbins hold more yarn and this stuff is fat!

Thanks! I made that stuff when I was learning to spin ages ago. At the time I thought it was really bad spinning. Now I’m calling it art yarn 🤣

Christmas towel gifts. I've been pressed into service by my DH. I swear, he's been watching my progress very closely the last 6 years and has determined that I am ready to make gifts for his co-workers and direct reports:). So much for trying to catch up to the current season--sooo close and yet sooo far away.

Thank you Jane and Company, I'm going to cheat and use the kits for the towels. My brain can't handle much more.

You can do it, but be prepared for the addiction you will create 😉 The people I've given tea towels to always crave more!

That is good to know, Sandra. Because just the other day I was thinking that people are going to get tired of getting towels from me. And do you ever have to convince the recipients to actually use them because they always say that they are too pretty to use? LOL. My daughter DOES use hers, though.

Oy Sandra, that's what I'm afraid of. I may never leave season 6. I'm going to try and stockpile for next year. fingers crossed.

Someone in my guild mentioned that she "threatened" her brother who said the towels were too nice to use by, suggesting that new towels would not be gifted again if they aren't used. I've been using darker colors for the kitchen so I'm not as disturbed by stubborn food stains. I'm a messy cook.

NOT right, it is absolutely special, because it is my first project on my new Spring 😊😊😊

It is such a hugh difference to weaving with a table loom. Weaving distance, shed and so much more, I am totally happy with my new baby😍
And I'm happy too that I started with a simple project, there is really enough new to consider.

Couldn't wait to get these little fellas off the loom and washed! It's grey in the Pacific NW today, and I hope you can see these even though the light was not so great.
