Wow, that is gorgeous. ❤️🙌❤️
So beautiful.
That’s GORGEOUS!!! Would you mind sharing the details?
The warp is all 60/2 silk, 17 stripes of alternating black and a painted warp. 408 ends total, so 24 ends per stripe. Use the JS on line Cramming and Denting episode from Season 2 Sley it 48 epi for the black stripes and 18 epi for the painted warp stripes. The warp is 26/2 black cashmere done 18 ppi for the dented. Not sure about the crammed part but i squished 18 picks as much as i could. I am guessing it was close to 48 ppi? Have fun with it!
Beautiful scarf! Is it comfy and warm and lightweight?
Oh my this is stunning !! I wish I could feel it in person !!
Thank you ladies for your nice comments! Has anyone else done the cramming and denting episode? I am stuck on it! Next I am going to try some it with some handspun wool and sari silk yarn.
I just wound spools of zephyr and silk to weave the "Pucker Up" scarves. After that, I will do the cramming and denting project.
Hi Cheryl. I have not yet worked with tencel but want to. I would love to see a picture of it when you're done!
I'll post photos, but there isn't tencel in my projects. Wool and silk in the pucker up scarves, and then cotton and silk for the cram and dent scarf.
Oops. I did mean zephyr. Haven't worked with that either!
I look forward to your next projects. I haven’t don the cramming and denting yet, but I’m inspired by your scarf!
What is on your loom?
Hi Marge, I have a collapsible weave kit from JST guild on my loom. I am loving the warp. It is 30/2 silk and the Merino that JST sells. I did warp some of the brown/maroon wool strips in a color and weave pattern. I have not started the weaving yet. Im about to do the hem stitching this morning.

Then box of yarn will be the same weave, but wider, for a wedding shawl for my future daughter-in-law. The red weave, pictured above, that is on the loom, will be for her mother, and is a scarf.

Oooo! Looks luxurious.
Love the “something blue” for the bride!
