Jane's tips for finding inspiration have been invaluable! I had another instructor , Catherine Ellis, who advised taking your camera and journal with you always and snap a photo of what inspires you as well as journal your inspirations each day. Many of her photos were found in nature and her work in woven Shibori and dying is extraordinary. You might find her blog inspirational as well.

Finally finished! It came out 21"x64" ish. Big scarf, or table runner.
I kind of wish I'd not put in the white, though. I think it would be nicer with just the gamp gradations without the borders on each color. What do you think?

Beautiful...it would make a great table runner to coordinate with my Fiestaware dishes !!

I have placemats that coordinate with it, too. Not woven my me, but they match.
