I am noticing that I included a couple stripes in my warp that appear to NOT be the same as the rest of the 8/2 cotton in the warp now. Those ends seemed to be behaving differently in beaming. Unmarked from stash, I suppose it could be linen or linen blend? Will have trouble going forward? Would it be better if I replace those stripes with something I am sure is 8/2 cotton before moving on?

Well it is really hard to say how they will weave up. If you have wound on the warp, were they longer or shorter at the end of the warp? If they wound on much the same you might not have any problem. How long is the warp? If it is really long and they are stretchier you could weight those ends with an S hook. It is so hard to advise on something like this.

Thankyou Jane! They ended up the same length, but I did not pull on them separately. Warp is 6 yards. I think I will go ahead and if there ends up being wonky threads, will use your S hook idea at the back of the loom.
I am enjoying your classes so very much and learning tons. Just finished Division of Space and Color Color Color. from season 2...fabulous...finally simplified some of the mystery so as to be no longer intimidating! This has been one of the worst spots for me so that I can't even get started on anything, never knowing exactly what to do. Now I have some 'tools'. and a doable outline to go forward. Thankyou
