Hello,
I have a 20/2 cotton warp that I did some dip dying with a few years ago. I am wanting to weave it up and have it be a warp-faced fabric to show off the dip dyeing. I am not too fussy about the feel of the fabric (it's okay if it comes out stiff). I am wondering about recommendations for sett? Also recommendations for weft. I have a 5/2 cotton I was considering testing out for weft. I have enough warp to sample with to try out different sett and weft options. Any recommendations appreciated.
Thank you!

Hi Anastatia,
It will start to become warp predominant around 30 epi and will be totally warp faced at 40. There is an entire episode about figuring this out in Season 3, Episode 5. There is a lot of information about warp faced weaving, how to get great selvedges, tips about winding those warps on etc. Have a peak :)
Cheers,
jane
Hi Jane,
Thank you very much! I will have a look at the episode you indicated. I just signed up over the weekend and am very much enjoying the videos (so far just made it through the mohair blanket videos).
Thank you,
Anastatia
