Hello. I am wondering about making a scarf in shadow weave, using some 30/2 Bombyx silk that I have. Would this weave structure work if combined the silk with cotton - maybe 16/2, or with bambu? And if so, what would the sett be? 18 EPI?

Hi Beth,
It would be beautiful to combine it with either....the cotton would give it more contrast between shiney and matte which would add another layer. The pieces in the episode used 8/2 cotton at 18 epi.....seeing that the 30/2 silk is quite a bit finer than the 8/2 cotton, I would sett it around 24 epi.
