I know there is a video of Jane doing this but can't seem to locate it.
That video is in 2 places...Youtube and our knowledge base.

Thanks Jeanne, you know the videos better than I do, LOL.
Not necessarily ---- maybe for someone who is unfamiliar with researching, however with such a well orchestrated format - to coin a phrase easy peasy! Even I can't remember what I had for breakfast, more often than you think! :-)
I would mention here for those who follow the forum..... I took your terrific suggestion Jane to make note of vip video placement to facilitate retrieving it. It is one of the best AHA moments you gifted me. When a season starts I mark episode and section. Within each I note the areas important to me and the video placement. I , then print the index for the episode at it's end and mark video placements if applicable or go back to something I missed. At the end of the season I print completed season index(my weaving bible) and transfer the data to complete my season binder. I do this so automatically now and find I retain more in the doing! Your tip came in a later season so I plan to use my winters going over the earlier seasons and doing the same. I am so proud and happy to be a part of your guild and community.
Jeanne thank you so much for mentioning this method. I too like to come back to earlier videos, but having an index in my hands makes it so much easier.
Yes, I am in total agreement and as I may have mentioned before it is my Guild Bible. I would mention here for those who may have difficulty finding them.......click on Resources at top of page which brings one to School of Weaving Help then in the Search Knowledge Base print Index and you will find all you need. ( Index/es is not in popular article list which I feel it should be so one might access readily )
Jeanne, you get a gold star for organization! Thank you for your kinds words, we do have a lovely community :)
Thanks all! I did it too so now I can chalk up one more skill thanks to Jane Stafford and her amazing team. I am forever grateful for you all.
And thanks for the organizing tip Jeanne. Will try to take better notes and never again think, "I'll never need that." LOL. Famous last words..

I hope someone can help with this. I had a couple of warp threads break while we were winding on the double weave warp. Harrisville Shetland beaks soooo easily, and I think the threads got stuck together then snapped in the raddle while winding on to the back beam. I am thinking I will just thread as usual, and when I get to those (I have them identified) I will put in a new tread and weight it off the back. Is that the right thing to do? Or the ONLY thing to do? ;)
