Jane and Crew: You did a fabulous job creating the new School of Weaving. I spent a lot of time this morning poking around to see how everything works. WOW! The School is so much easier to use, everything is easy to find and I love all the pictures which show me just what's in each Episode; it makes it easier for me to zoom in one what I'm seeking. Thank You for a job well done!
Thank you for your kind words Carol. I have an awesome crew who brought this new site to life. I just sat in on meetings trying to look like I knew what they were talking about :). Alastair, Ginette, Greg, Sandra and the crew at Vimeo made this all happen. They are the best. It is so much better.
I would like to join Carol in thanking Jane and team for creating the School of Weaving! I am located in Singapore and there is not much here in terms of accessing information on weaving. When I picked up weaving again (after 40 years) at the beginning of last year, I had so many questions. I was so thankful for the internet but spent too much time on it trying to find specific answers to my questions and errors. I only recently discovered your school and I wish I had found it sooner! The videos are very clear and easy to follow! And many thanks to your video on the Louet Spring II, I eagerly await mine which is expected to arrive in November. It will be my third loom and I will soon run out of space! Many thanks once again!
Hi Stephanie, So glad you are enjoying the school of weaving :). Congratulations on your new Spring II....you will love it.
Happy Weaving Jane
Hi Jane and crew,
I just wanted to send a HUGE THANK YOU! I discovered the School of Weaving this spring after recently purchasing an old table loom. The videos have been invaluable to me, and have taught me many of the much needed basics, and much more. Weaving has become my new obsession. I have also been enjoying season two, and appreciate learning about design from the ground up. I have about 20 new projects in my head, and haven't had to look at any patterns other than your sample gamps! Thanks again,
Kirsten, from the Okanagan.
Hi Kristen, I’m so glad you have found the lesson valuable and thank you so much sending your thoughts.
I know what it feels like to have 20 projects in my head...heck, I wish I had elves that came into the studio at night to bring it all to reality. LOL.
Happy weaving sweetheart,
Jane
Love the School of Weaving and review the lessons often. I am trying to understand how to renew my subscription. I originally signed up on the Jane Stafford Textiles site. Just don't see renewal info anywhere.
Have you looked under your account tab at the top right hand corner of the screen? You should see “Manage your Subscription” there and be able to renew. Please let us know if you are successful or still have a problem.
I have checked 'Manage your Subscription'. I see the migration of my current subscription from the JST website to the School of Weaving site. I just do not see any place on that page that gets me to renew.
Hi Gabby!
Could you click on the link below and try to proceed with the 7-day Free Trial? You'll have to enter all the info that it asks on the signup form for the 7-day free trial. Once that is done, you'll receive a confirmation email and a few others. After the 7-day free trial is over and if you have not manually cancelled your subscription, the payment will then process and then your subscription is good for a whole year.
