A simple(silly) question. I am starting the JST Burgoyne Berry Shetland Wrap. There are 2 colours in plain weave-2 picks of one colour and a third pick of the second colour. Eventually, I am throwing that first colour on the wrong shed. How should I manage that?

What’s important is to keep the DDL sequence going with the basket weave tie-up, regardless on which side you are throwing that first colour from or where it last landed. You will always have 2 picks in the same shed (don’t forget to use your floating selvedges to secure your threads, especially for when you thrown 2 darks in the same shed).
Weave:
2 darks in the same shed (blackcherry)
then 1 light followed by 1 dark in the next shed (tundra & blackcherry)
next 1 dark followed by 1 light in the next shed (blackcherry & tundra)…….and so on
