Hello! I’m still getting used to my new Jane loom, and I have noticed when all the levers are down the warp rests nicely just above the shuttle race, but when I start lifting levers the lower part of the shed raises a bit as well. I think this may be contributing to the skips I’m getting. Is this supposed to happen?

It is also possible, nay probable, that I’m not getting optimal tension or advancing the warp to the right distance from the beater. Any advice would be appreciated!
