In Episode 1, Jane made a point of saying how a spool of yarn needs to lay on it's side when using the warping board. Is there a specific position when removing yarn off of a cone. I have had issues with yarn spiraling when I have unchanged my warp. Thanks

Hello Deb - I had problems with warp threads twisting around one another, prior to threading the heddles, when I tried using single ply yarn. It was beautiful yarn, but it was a complete pain and put me off using it and I never really heard of a solution. Hopefully someone on the forum can help if you, too are using single ply yarn.
