My first time weaving with Baby Alpaca (both warp and weft) and something went awry with the wet finishing. I did the wet finishing in a sink with warm water and Dawn dish soap pretty much like I usually do. It is obvious that I over-did the wet finishing because it is felting in places. I did not notice any issues with tension during weaving and I wove the same treadling throughout the piece. The thing is that I have another blanket with the same warp on my loom right now so I'd really like to learn what might have gone wrong so the it does not repeat with the other blanket.
