I'm just back from my first weaving conference. :-) I did two solid days of M&O's with Suzi Ballenger (glorious) and one day of clasped weft variations with Tom Knisely (so encouraging).

I have warp left in 10/2 cotton and would like to use clasped weft with some silk. I have used 16/2 cotton and had some ancient silk thread, but how do I calculate the weight of silk to use in clasped weft with a 10/2 warp?

Also if this is something I should be able to figure out using the master sett chart, let me know. I just want to make sure I end up with the right thickness of yarn in silk.
