Since I started using my Louet vertical warping mill I’ve noticed that my warps are not a consistent length. Some areas are longer than others. I’ve attached photos to show what I mean. I am very careful not to let warp ends stack, keeping them side by side as I use the mill, as Jane shows in the video. I’m wondering if I’m doing something wrong or is this just the way the mills works? I didn’t experience this with my warping board. Thankfully it works out in the end by trimming them to the same length, but I do think it’s something I should change! I’m appreciative of any thoughts or experience.
