Hello more experienced weavers than I,
I had the great chance to get an older Macomber CP11. I cleaned her up and lubricated her where needed. She came with three reeds. A couple of them seem a bit rusty. Can anyone please give me advice on how to clean them and protect them from re-rusting? Thank you, so much

Hi Bonny,
I would try some steel wool first and see if that works for you. I have used a small wire brush and didn't add anything on it afterwards. There are rust removers you can purchase as well. I haven't tried any of those so can't recommend a brand. If you use a rust remover, wash it off after and dry the reed really well. You might only need to do that.
