Does anyone have experience fulling wool or alpaca blankets in a compact washing machine? How did it work for you?

I don't have a compact washing machine but, are you able to stop yours when you want to check on the fulling process?

Hoping someone with one can chime in for you! The other option, if you have a friend near by that has a top loader washing machine you can use to full :)
