I would like to make a shawl with a 16/2 cotton warp and a silk weft but I need to use some of the cotton in the warp as I don't have all the colors I want in silk. Is this feasible? Thank you.
What is the size of your silk? Is it close to the size of your 16/2? Could you alternate some of the silk you have with the 16/2, for instance, in the border of the shawl? This would add a bit of firmness to your border but still be stunning with the centre in silk.
