This is basically two rectangles, and I would love to have one but I would rather weave one than knit one. Does anyone have experience with designing garments for weaving? I'm thinking of draping fabric to see what might assemble into a wearable object. Does anyone have experience with this? I would love to make woven garments without having to cut out pieces. Getting this to hang properly is tricky, though. Just wondering if anyone else had insight into the subject.

I looked up your pattern but it doesn’t provide an illustration of the dimensions and where it is grafted.

Just a thought but you could look up “ruana” which kinda looks like what you’re looking at.

I think handwoven magazine had one you could make. I will see if I can track it down. It was a few years ago.

Please keep in mind the stretch that knitting has. I would experiment with fabric and cut the pattern on the bias to see how it behaves.
