Could someone help me/point me to resources to convert the tie up for holly and berry tea towels to countermarch loom on newly assembled Spring ii?

"A recommendation when tying up your parallel countermarche loom - tie up all short cords first. Reading your pattern - which is likely geared toward a jack loom - tie a short cord for all shafts that indicate they need to be tied up - for each treadle. Once all short cords are connected, now go back and tie up a long cord to every screw head that remains open"

From the louet page, this was the other bit that helped me understand how to move from a jack loom to a countermarche loom to do tie ups.

Update: my loom is warped and tied on.

I am making Season 5, Holly & Berry tea towels (forest with turquoise and cobalt to accent the natural ground) on a new Louet Spring ii.

I want to make sure I understand the treadling sequence and I thought I saw a video where Jane had them labeled. Now I can't find it.

As soon as I have the treadles marked (I think they are A, B, AB then a gap/empty treadles and on the right tabby 1, and tabby 2,3,4).
After I have them marked I will double check the treadle ties one more time and start weaving.

Hi everyone, and happy new year's eve!

For the holly & berry towels, on a new Louet Spring II, I had the first two treadles tied up correctly, but the second three were exactly backwards. I finally figured it out, and then wove about 7" of towel, so I'm on my way.

After weaving once in a while on an old Baby Wolf at a different location, this loom is so much gentler on my body. And everything about the fabric is looser than I am used to, but I think a good washing will pull the towels in.
