My inexperience is really shining -- I think I may be misreading the draft for these towels. Has anyone else woven up this kit who would be willing to straighten my thinking out?

Well, once again I prove my own worst enemy. What's that advice? "If you see hoofprints, think 'horses' before 'zebras.'" Seems that my problem was really just that I was beating WAY too hard, so of course the first part of the weaving that was to measure approximately 3" was more like 1.5". I am practicing a little deep breathing while weaving and my lace squares are now more lacey and more squarey. Geez! I am glad these particular towels are all intended for my kitchen.

Isn't it wonderful when you are learning enough to understand what's happening on your loom! 👏
