Is there any reason why sample 6 (using natural) requires 10 threads and sample 7 (using black) indicates 8 threads of black? I have a wolf pup so my weaving length is limited to 18”

It's been awhile since that gamp. I can't recall if there was anything significant. I don't see why you couldn't adjust the gamp by using 8 border threads. They are both plain weave. Folks have readjusted to fit the loom for other exercises.

Oh btw, it gets a wee bit more complicated as we progress into different threadings but still adjustable. It’s actually rather fun and helps build on that whole design foundation/math.
