I'm hoping that someone here who has a sinking shed loom, has taken Jennifer Moore's Double Weave class. I'm not taking about double width. This is the interchanging layers double weave. Cheryl and I are taking the Double Rainbow Sampler class later this month and have started getting ready for it. The instructions, and Jennifer's set-up videos do not mention sinking shed looms, and I know that it is just the opposite on a rising shed. But I am having trouble with the tie up, because tying up the opposite treadles doesn't work. I am probably not explaining this well, but I wondered if anyone here has taken that workshop who has a David or a Spring loom with sinking shed. Thanks in advance. :)

Oof I can guess how frustrated you must feel. I took a similar sort of class with Cally Booker a few months ago, and thought I surely could figure it out in advance on my own. Nope. And everyone else with a sinking shed, or countermarche for that matter, was in the same boat. I expect your teacher will share it with you. I would ask.

We find it baffling that this issue has not come up. We can’t be the only people who’ve taken this class that have this loom.
