Does Jane use only 8/4 cotton for both pattern and tabby on all of the placemats after Placemat #1?
( I thought I left this question already but I didn't see it anywhere so please excuse if this is a double)
After double checking with Jane - this is her answer…..
After weaving the first placemat and using 4 shuttles, I then wove from placemat #2 on with only 8/4 cotton in pattern and tabby picks, reducing the number of shuttles needed.
I’m deleting our earlier conversation so as not to confuse anyone;-)
