I am winding my warp for the turned twill kit from season 5. I haven't seen any mention of floating selvages in the videos, nor in the kit. I always understood that I needed them with a 3/1 twill. Can someone set me straight?

In the video, I believe Jane said that if you want a floating selvedge for this, you can. Otherwise, it will catch every 3rd? throw. I don't have my notes in front of me. so I can't recall the minute mark of the episode
