The Kindle I have is an eReader and doesn’t download content for viewing like a tablet would. If what you have is an Amazon Fire tablet - the answer is no, there isn’t an app specifically for it but I have asked our tech wizard to see if he can find out whether the Android app will work with an Amazon tablet and I’ll let you know what he finds out.
Thank you Sandra. I have 3 Fires. They work best for me to accommodate my visual, speech and physical impairments yet there are lots of kindle users in the world. I am fairly certain kindles only use the Amazon app store. If push comes to shove I can try access from the net but an app would be very convenient . Appreciate all you do to keep the weaving, world and guild community happy!! It is a wondrous thing you have done here.
I don’t seem to be able to download pdf’s from the App - it comes up with access denied.
What make of device are you using, Jacqueline?
IPhone XR iOS.
OK - I'll see if one of our techies can help! I can't because I'm having problems downloading the IOS app to my Apple devices - there always are growing pains with a new site ;-) Can you download the PDFs from the website in the meantime?
Yes, it works on my iPad, x
There is a Help section for the IOS app - before we get you to contact the techie support line - have you gone through this - https://www.schoolofweaving.tv/help/using-the-ios-app ?
No not yet x
I have now.
Frustrating!!! OK - send a message to https://www.schoolofweaving.tv/contact/support and explain your issue. Let me know if they are able to help you!
