We had so many positive responses to Rebecca's episode in Season 8 on the Powell method of drafting Shadow Weave that I asked her to come back and do another. This time I asked her if we could create a floating object with horizontal stripes and place it on a background of vertical stripes. I also wanted to play with the idea of Shadow Weave being placed into a bigger graphic, not just weaving selvedge to selvedge. I wanted the Shadow weave to be less busy. Not only did she do that, but she overlaid it all onto Basket Weave. Basket Weave will be teaching us a lot this year :)
