Get ready for an exciting episode featuring the amazing designer Lisa Hill, inspiring basket maker Joan Carrigan, and myself! Our 4 shaft project was inspired by the incredible weaver Jean Carey, who gifted me two beautiful hot mats woven with 8/4 cotton and natural willow sticks. Every time I see them, I smile and feel grateful. Lisa has taken Jean's idea and transformed it using Deflected Double Weave, while I used Monk's Belt. Joan Carrigan joins us to discuss harvesting natural materials and shares fun ideas. Plus, Lisa demonstrates how to use information from the 8 shaft Gampkins in Season 9 Episode 4, creating three new scarf patterns based on that lesson. Don't miss out on this episode packed with creativity and inspiration!
