We have our wonderful Rebecca Logan back with a new episode on Diversified Plain Weave, …pushing it to new places! We start with a quick review of what we learned last year in Season 9, Episode 3. Do you remember those amazing baby blankets woven in 16/2 cotton and our Organic Cloud Cotton? They were gorgeous. This time, Rebecca is using 16/2 and 8/4 cotton to weave stunning towels with a wonderful hand and drape. You’ll learn how to choose the best EPI for a firm or soft cloth.

There are projects for 4 and 8 shafts, both using the same warp inspired by our Muted Colour Gamp from Season 2.
The 4 shaft project is designed to play with all the possible tie-up combinations using 6 treadles. This means tons of fun if you want to start playing some jazz at the loom.
The 8 shaft project uses the same warp but is threaded with 6 blocks. Rebecca excels at tie-up creation, and she can coax the most amazing patterns out of a threading by changing the tie-up. The patterns in these towels are absolutely gorgeous.

And finally, what would an episode be without a show & tell, inspiration to last a lifetime!
