Hey everyone! What fun weaving projects are you working on this month?
i've just upcycled a large lampshade with a piece of deflected doubleweave woven from ideas in last seasons wonderful gamp. I used hemp and cotton, with some silver and copper zingers. It was easier than I thought. I absolutely LOVED Elizabeth Hill's lessons on DDW
Spent an hour trying to transfer an image to my comment - by following the instructions (copy and paste the code etc) with no luck. Seems I just haven't got the knack, so I gave up!
The image is on the Ravelry JSSch Group page, 'new projects', for anyone who's curious.
It looks great Ann, love the bit of blue you've got going on it!
Not sure why the photo upload didn't work for you here. It looks like the image is deleted. The code looks ok though. Could be the type of photo file you have, but it should still accommodate the avif file...hmmm
I am warping my loom for season 4, episode 1, using black and white 8/2 cotton. I'll be making towels instead of scarves, so I added more threads to the warp. 😊

Not sure I understood how to upload the picture but I'll give it a try. After doing the overshot lesson in season 6 I was so excited to try. my own draft. I used the name draft idea from season 6 to come up with an overshot pattern, thought I modified the 'name' quite a bit to get a pattern I liked.
I was specifically trying to figure out how to use this wool/silk blend yarn that I was given several bins of! I love the hand of these scarves. I used 8/2 organic cotton for the warp and slayed at 13 epi at first and then reslayed at 14 epi and am very happy with that
