In season 6, Jane mentioned a book called Keep me Warm One Night, by D. Burnham. It's about early Canadian coverlets, I wondered if any of you, would have it, or know it and any comments on it, especially regarding the number of drafts from the book to weave coverlets. I have seen it, really like it but have very little info about it. I would have to order it from America, as it is impossible to find it in the UK. I am just concerned that it is mostly about the history of Canadian coverlets, which is interesting, but ideally I am after draft patterns for early coverlets, the book is quite expensive so I need to make sure it's right. If anyone has any other suggestions for books on early coverlets, I would love it too. Thank you!

This book is available to view on Internet Archive Digital Library. You may also be able to find digital copies at your local library. Another book that you might find interesting is American Woven Coverlets by Carol Strickler. This book is also on the Internet Archive Digital Library or to purchase through Abebooks at a much more reasonable price.

I've been using my local library a lot lately for access to digital books and magazines. Handwoven magazine, Spin-off and Little Looms are available in Canada online for free using my local library app.
