AB treadled 134 - 234. No matter how I treadled it , the center which is supposed to be dark on the front side came up light. Any help would be appreciated. I really would like to finish it if possible
Thanks so much for answering . Georgene [email protected]
Hi Georgene,
What kind of loom do you have? It almost sounds like your tie-up is set up for rising shed for the centre of the warp to be light and your dark is on the underside when you are weaving.
I have a rising shed Gilmore , howver I threaded it on the sinking shed that Jane had given.

Have you checked if you reversed the tie ups for your treadles? Your treadles should be tied up to the empty boxes. If you didn’t reverse them, it will still work out. The pattern will just appear on the underside of the cloth. When you take the cloth off the loom, turn the cloth over and you will see the correct pattern.
