We'd love to see what's happening on your loom ;-) Sorry for the delay - my computer has been acting up!

Variation on Kiki's Swedish Lace tea towels. I did the first couple using the natural colour in the weft, combined with one other colour as per the pattern, but decided that with that much light colour in the tea towels, they would show up every tea stain etc. So I tried using a darker blue colour instead, combined with the lighter shade. I am very happy with the result. One thing I like is the detail on the Selvedge from the different coloured weft threads coming in. What about the colours chosen......Well it may be June but it is bucketing rain where I am, hence the reference to water!
I had to go into the bowels of my browser which kept blocking access to viewing your pictures - took me two days - but, boy was it worth it.
Wonderful tea towels. A joy to have seen it.
Thanks for the inspiration.

Thanks Diane! It's great to feel that I am making progess, even though there is so much stuff I still haven't a clue about. I am so glad I took the plunge a got a treadle loom....makes such a difference!
I am busy lightly beating a parrot!!!!
Knee rug - that is ! 😂
I've just taken the Bouclé Towels from Season 1 off my loom. I'm in shock. They are beautiful. Thank you, Jane, for teaching me how to weave selvedges. I used to avoid weaving because of worries about selvedges. Not anymore. I start the Asymmetry samples later this week. Happy Summer, everyone!
