I'm making the color and weave gamp from season 2, and was wondering why I was running out of yarn. I misunderstood the directions of, for example 44 LLDD to be 44 turns, instead of 11. ARGH! So now I have 7 sections of warp that are all way too long. Any suggestions on how to salvage this without wasting all the yarn?
No wondering - Can I try to warp the 44 THREADS, and remove the extra 132 threads? I'm assuming I will throw those in the trash, but hoping to turn this disaster into a learning experience. I've only warped once back to front, but open to the other way if it increases the possibility.
Hi Mimi, have your wound the warp on your loom yet?
No, and some other geniuses reminded me I can use those warps for other projects. Duh! I might try to take a smaller section and warp it correctly (will tie off the unneeded part at the cross) just to see if I can.

That sounds like a good idea. I hope it works out for you. Let us know.
