I have the Canvas Weave baby blanket all warped and threaded through the heddles as in the pattern. I am now confused as to how to thread the yarn through the reed. Is it the same as threaded through the heddles? TIA

Hi Nancy - at the bottom left column on the front page of the Canvas Weave pattern - you will see that with a 12 dent reed you sley the reed at 1 per dent. Happy weaving....

I’m not sure what you’re asking except to ask if you are on rigid heddle.
If so, you don’t have a reed to sley since there is no reed because the rigid heddle behaves like both-heddle and reed-rom my brief experience with one. (Very fun btw- and was a gateway for me)

I am on a Schacht 45" Standard Loom. It has heddles to thread and then the reed to thread. I think I have it figured out. I thread the reed just like I threaded the heddles. Hopefully!
