Apologies if this is not the appropriate place to ask this question. I am a new weaver just beginning Season 2. When doing sequence weaving I am having trouble with carrying the yarns up the selvedge. I have figured it out for 2 yarns but what is the rule if using 3 different colors in the sequence. Thanking you in advance.
Welcome to our world of weaving, Stephen. Your question all depends on when the colour you are changing from is needed again. If you are alternating 2 colours, for instance, and the section of each colour is only a few picks, you can carry your colour as you alternate colours. If it's a large block of colour - then you tuck the colour you are ending back into the cloth before you start your new colour. You can see how Jane handles that issue in https://www.schoolofweaving.tv/videos/1-5-1-intro-to-unfinished-business-tucking-tails
Sandra, thank you very much for your reply and the link back to the video where Jane demonstrates. I knew I had seen it before but could not seem to get it in the search. Cheers, Stephen
