Hello hive mind! I want to do a series of scarves with simple collapsed weave. I've done them before with a kit. At present I have a ton of Merino but little Silk. If I were to use Bamboo would I get a similar end product as if I used Silk?

You should get a similar outcome but the bamboo might shrink a bit more than the silk. Wash a sample carefully by hand to see if you are happy with the results. The merino will be happy shrinking so the results should be close to using silk.

I’ve successfully used Bamboo instead of silk. The last chunk of Bamboo fabric I wove (6 yards) didn’t shrink at all after a wash in the bathtub.
