My david is currently empty, but I have some 12 gauge bamboo to make 2 scarves, going to use the draft from the Twill Thrills book from the large threading gamp. My baby wolf has the monk's belt kit from season 6 on it right now. And I have 2 other silk projects lining up and some gifts. Oh and the handspun, handwoven project at some point too.

I'm attending a workshop on Double Weave with Cally Booker. Really fun!

I can't wait for season 8, Doubleweave. I bought Jennifer Moore's book but am challenged to learn that way. I look to Jane for upcoming lessons.

Cheryl and I attended Jennifer’s zoom class back in August. It was fantastic! We both agreed that it was difficult to learn the process by only using the book, as did several others. Jennifer is a great teacher.

I’m looking forward to Jane’s take on the process, as well. I have no doubt it will be great, too.

ITA with Deb...the book made no sense until the Zoom classes!!

thanks for that feedback about learning from the Doubleweave book. Can you share some of your samples from DW?

I thought it would be informative to share this. I'm a pro photographer and use my iPhone to capture images of my weavings. In the first photoI have a clamp lamp above my weaving with a LED lamp; and in the second example, I only have a lamp on in the room and natural light. You can see the color difference in each. The truer color is in the first photo.

[img][/img]. In weaving this sequence, I am throwing one pick of white and 3 picks of magenta. The warp is a bit of a gamp.
