I'm looking for someone who has experience with the Rustic Elegance Tea Towel Kit. I have dressed my loom and woven the first 1".5 in simple weave as per instruction but I am now confused by the 5 picks sequence where the instructions calls for Natural Grey for the tabby picks and Dark Grey for the Float. I am a beginner, what has me confused is that the tabby picks are all going in one direction and the float in the opposite. So how can I use alternate colors yarn? I hope my question makes sense. Hi Giovanni, I 'm not sure if I understood your question but there is nor right or wrong direction of a pick. For the cloth it doesn't matter weather you start a pick from the left or right side as long as your foot is on the right treadle. It's no problem to throw two picks on after the other starting from the same side with two different shuttles/colors and on two different treadles.

Make sure you watched Ep 5.4.. In "on theloom" you can watch Jane weaving using two shuttles.

Thank you for your answer. I think it may resolves my impasse. While I understand that there isn’t right or wrong I never thought that I can throw a pick from the same direction as long as I change the treadles as in the instructions. I will watch the movie you refer to. Thank you, Giovanni
