Thank you for the reminder, Kathleen - setting up What's on Your Loom slipped through the cracks at the beginning of this crazy month. It's up now - please share what you've been busy weaving so far this month!
Oh, OK. I'll go first. Not super exciting, but these are little towels I'm making for my daughter and her running friends. Something to take along to wipe off the moisture from running. This is just the end of one towel. There will be five total and I am using Cascade Nifty Splash Cotton and 8/2 for the hems and borders. A fast weave.

Hi Deb, is that a mix of basket weave and twill? Very nice towels.
Hi Kit! No, it’s plain weave and twill in the turquoise stripes. I wish I’d used 8/4 in those, though because the rest of the weft is dk. I did the hems in plain weave 8/2 and they’ll be ok because they will be doubled.
I've got a warp in undyed cottolin on one of my looms for 10 napkins. Undyed cottolin for tabby and a different color of cottolin for pattern weft for each of the napkins. I used a Rosepath threading but different treadling/lift sequence for each napkin. The one I just finished, I wove as Huck. Wall of Troy will be next.
I am just starting napkin #7 today so should have these finished and photos taken before the end of April. I am hemstitching each napkin on the loom so won't have to hem them when I finish weaving.
Can't wait to see them, Cheryl!
Next set of towels, 12 yard warp, still playing with turned twill.

I'm not yet comfortable with these colors. My sister wanted me to try a table runner with this warp, in these colors. Cerise, Charcoal, Medium Gray, White. Division of space in 3. Season 5 Tie up #4

Cheryl and I are doing a two-person "Weave Along" using the Ruckle Beach pattern. After much frustration with a threading error, I am finally flying along. OF course, being me, and after Googling "Ruckle Beach", I had to go rogue and not only use different colors (Toffee, Mustard, and Hemlock mainly) but added some Azure (or it might be Peacock) to the mix in order to represent the sea.

I loved the kit colors of the Ruckle Beach project so much, that I'm not making any changes...I have David warped, threaded and sleyed...just need to start the weaving. I think it will weave up fast !
It is pretty fast! And yours will go faster because you aren’t monkeying around with an added color, like I am. You’ll probably finish before me, even doing two! 😂
Finished my warp for 10 napkins. All different pattern wefts and treadling/lift (used my Carolyn table loom). The warp was 8/2 cottolin, and the tabby was the same undyed cottolin with pattern wefts in different colors of cottolin except for the coral/pink weft which was 8/2 cotton.
I found that I preferred the patterns that make for a similar look on both sides as this is more practical, so that was the 2/2 twill lifts.
The threading was 4-shaft Rosepath.
I photographed them showing the fronts and the backs.

Love those, Cheryl! 🥰
And I bet they are all the same size! And your selvages are amazing! 🎉
Thanks Deb...my favorites are the one with the red pattern weft, and the last one with the black pattern weft. They have a squishy, kind of waffley texture that the others don't have.
Got LOADS of practice hemstitching ! But so easy to just cut apart and toss is washer and dryer.
These napkins are gorgeous and I like the fringes, they look so fresh and cheerful. Did you just hemstich or pass over with a zig zag stich too?
And what a nice idea to weave a project together, must be fun!
I' m weaving a set of placemats in monksbelt, using all the leftovers of my daughter's crochet career as pattern weft. So hard to decide the color mix ten times per mat, slows me down so much. And I'm not sure I really like the result 🤣
I’m thinking I’ll do some napkins soon. Maybe in the Strickler 249 twill that I’m dying to try next.
I just got my Monk’s belt placemats washed and they look great. I’ll take pics later.
I also got my first 8 shaft project washed and was very disappointed because of the way the shrank unevenly. I’m not even sure what happened but on some of the towels they are bunched up almost like corduroy and the other side is fine. Again, I’ll post pics later.
Thanks Catherine. I hemstitched those all on the loom. I know from past experience that the fringe will stand up to the test of time and just get more fluffy. My dishes are Fiesta Ware and I have around 20 different colors, so it's always fun to mix and match. I rolled the napkins up and tucked them into a little basket by the dining table...so cute.
I bet your brain is hurting trying to come up with those color combinations for the placemats !! Be sure to show us photos.
