Has anyone woven with the heavier Harrisville yarn- highland? Thoughts?
I have cones of it for knitting but I’m beginning to realize that weaving is taking up more time and my stash is not shrinking .
Harrisville Highland is approx. 200 yards per 100g skein (3.5 oz.) and Harrisville Shetland is approx. 217 yards per 50g skein (1.75 oz.). You certainly use it as a yarn twice as thick as Shetland for items like cozy blankets, heavy wraps, or anything calling for thicker wool.
