I just finished the Ruckle Beach Wrap in Harrisville Shetland wool and have a few questions about finishing.
1. The instructions say to leave 10 inches for fringe. Should the fringe be twisted before fulling?
2. I have a front loading washer, which probably isn't good for fulling. Should I try doing it by hand in a bath tub or a large kitchen sinK? Dimensions are 32"x 83".
Thanks
Sue
Hi Sue, Twist the fringe before you full it.... they will be much shorter when you are finished twisting. I would do it by hand in the kitchen sink. It will be pretty easy to do there and then you won't be worried about what is happening in your front loader. Unless of course you can open your front loader during the cycle.....if you can, then you can check on it every 2 minutes and see how things are coming along.
Hope this helps,
Cheers
